Airport, Freeware - Aerosoft’s Paderborn / Lippstadt (Germany, North Rhine Westfalia, Paderborn)
For those of you who haven’t heard of Aerosoft before, they’re quite a big deal in the simulation world, their tagline is even, “The Simulation Company”. Living up to that title, they’ve been gracious enough to give the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 community a gift, in the form of a spectacular freeware airport. Located in North Rhine Westfalia, Germany, Paderborn Airport is a incredibly useful place to fly out of, as it’s only a short distance from many European airports and other points of interest. The local area isn’t too shabby either! So this airport is truly suitable for both General Aviation and Commercial pilots.

The amount of detail in this airport isn’t only reflected in the photos we took below, but also in the file size, probably the largest addon we’ve installed to date here at MSFSaddons.org. But there’s no problem with that, nobody ever said Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was going to be easy on all our hardware, or our bandwidth… waiting for that 90GB+ initial install was really fun, wasn’t it? Thankfully Aerosoft has a bunch of options for download (including our personal preference, speedy Mega.nz) when you go to the following site to download the installer (yeah, they even included an installer, so no community folder instructions required!) you’ll get to chose which file host you want to download from:
